A concertgoer received an unexpected treat while attending the second night of Dua Lipa's Radical Optimism Tour at a hit venue in Los Angeles, California, after catching sight of another pop sensation dancing in the audience nearby. The London-born artist commandeered the Kia Forum in Inglewood for four consecutive evenings, hitting the stage with floor-filling anthems, disco homages, heartfelt vocals and non-stop movement.
The 30-year-old has thrilled sold-out audiences with live renditions of smash hits including Dance the Night, Don't Start Now, Levitating, One Kiss and numerous others. Music enthusiast Patrick was present for the second evening of the LA portion of the tour and was taken aback upon discovering Olivia Rodrigo also enjoying herself by dancing the night away.
The 22-year-old US singer-songwriter and actor rocketed to stardom following the launch of her record-breaking debut single Driver's License in 2021 and has recently wrapped up her own global tour, GUTS, which concluded in July 2025.

Patrick shared footage showing himself positioned in the standing area of the Kia Forum, striking a pose with his thumb raised.
The camera operator then shifts the view marginally to the left, revealing Olivia Rodrigo moving to Lipa's tunes from the front row of the first balcony.
Alongside the video, which was posted to TikTok, Patrick wrote: "LA is wild... one second you're at a Dua Lipa concert... and then the next Olivia Rodrigo is dancing behind you".
In the comments section, TikTok users were quick to share their thoughts, with many expressing their hopes for Olivia to return to the studio to record new music.
Olivia Rodrigo's most recent album, GUTS, was released in 2023, and fans are now eager for more. Its lead single, Vampire, was a huge success upon its release, becoming her third single to top the Billboard 100 on its debut.
This followed the trend of her debut single and album, SOUR, making the pop star the first artist to have two lead singles from their first and second albums reach number one on the Hot 100.
In August 2023, Olivia released the second single from GUTS, the hit song, Bad Idea Right? which made it into the top 10 in both the UK and the US.
Her fans are keen to hear new music from the star, especially now that her tour has ended.
One TikTok user simply commented: "Why's my girl everywhere but the studio?"
Another shared: "Olivia is such a vibe at everyone's concerts".
A third expressed regret at not seeing her in the crowd: "Ahhh we missed our girl??? Had no idea! We were there, up up in the back".
A fourth asked: "When will someone take one for the team and ask her where that album is".
Someone else joked: "Put that in your bio. Life achievement really. A milestone! Famous singer danced behind me in a....concert."
Another commented: "That doesn't look like the studio Olivia".
